Fishing the North Klondike Here in the Yukon, feisty northern species like Arctic grayling, northern pike and lake trout crowd the eddies and outflows of our streams and abound in our pristine lakes. Salmon make their way thousands of kilometres from the oceans to their spawning beds, arriving in the Yukon and Klondike Rivers late in the summer. This report documents the results of a study undertaken to identify and describe the important areas for native land use in northern Baffin Island and the Lancaster Sound region, including the settlements of Pond Inlet, Arctic Bay, Igloolik, Hall Beach, Spence Bay, Resolute and Grise Fiord, and unpublished information from the Inuit Land Use Occupancy Project (ILUOP) of
